Brigitte Engerer playing Liszt’s Piano Concerto no. 1, live in the early ’80s. Engerer (1952-2012) studied with the great and much misunderstood Russian pianist Stanislav Neuhaus. This is shared as a glimpse into the start of the young virtuoso’s career, a time in her life which is poorly documented.
