“Disheartened by the stale state of contemporary black metal, the Oslo-based quintet explores a more eerie and avant-gardist sound with a deranged passion. This is expressed in “Vinter Og Høst”, where the extreme metal carnage is supplemented by – amongst other things - anguished vocals, contemplative atmospheres and otherworldly effects. The track itself is a lament for depression, its rejuvenated strength in the winter wasteland, the vows of late spring and the promises broken by the autumnal mass death that follows. Hope is gone, resistance is futile. “Vinter Og Høst” is the first of (hopefully) many edicts from the exploratively inclined and highly dedicated five-piece. “ Recorded live in Evil Octopus Studios on the 4th of august 2021.
