Superb Lyrebird Menura novaehollandiae

On my morning walk I often hear, and sometimes see Superb Lyrebird Menura novaehollandiae. Even when you see them, they often take off without the chance of watching and or filming. Today this guy stuck around and by moving fairly slowly I was able to not scare him. I spotted him here They seem not to notice if you move slowly. You can tell where they’ve been each morning, as the continually rake the undergrowth looking for bugs and worms. You can see on some of the close ups he’s pulling out some juicy morsels.
