NEW Karahan Tepe Carvings Discovered in May 2023 | 9400 BC | Megalithomania

Stunning new carvings have for the first time been detected in Structure AD at Karahan Tepe in Southeast Turkey. The 11,400 year old site is the sister to Göbekli Tepe and during a recent Megalithomania tour in May 2023 Hugh Newman and JJ Ainsworth noticed carvings on the edges and front of the bedrock monoliths on the western edge of Structure AD. They had not seen them before on numerous previous occasions, and do not appear to have been reported by archaeologists. This suggests the specific angle of the sun at different times of year illuminates certain relief carvings at the site.
