Stereo Photography (650 Images) from the Old World, Stereoscope “3D”, 1838 Discovery, VR Compilation

Today we will dabble into the roots of photography, through one of the greatest collections of Stereo Photography/Stereoscopic Old World Images on YouTube. We will look at the device known as the Stereoscope’s mysterious and improbable origins. The Stereoscopic Images produced a “3D” sensation for the viewer. The heart of this video will be my collection of Stereo Photographs [650 stereoscopic images], taken from all reaches of the world, which I’ve decided to put all in one place for the first time. You will not find this collection anywhere else online. Thus, we begin to see the importance of the Stereoscope: for all intents and purposes, it was our looking glass. Thanks for being here, ya’ll! This video took a lot of work (just aligning the photographs for you to view in 3D, or on your own VR viewer/headset took me numerous hours). This is the largest stereoscopic photograph collection I’ve seen available on YouTube, and I’m proud to have been able to share it with you. I’d love to hear your thoughts about the “Stereoscope”, or any image that stands out to you, in the comment section down below. Feel free to support the channel. Thank you all for 62K subscribers. My Intro/Narrative ends at 10:45. Enjoy! Topics for further research:
