Weighted LaLanne Pushups, 10 lbs weights
In 2012, after 23 years of doing strictly weights and traditional fitness and bodybuilding, I started doing mostly bodyweight exercises (what many now call calisthenics).
While some calisthenics exercises proved difficult to master, some were rather easy and I had to add extra weight to make them more challenging. The LaLanne pushups was one of these core bodyweight exercises where I needed to do that.
In this video I perform in strict form (I hope) 10 reps of LaLanne push-ups with a 10-lbs plate on my back.
