Kursaal Flyer (1962)

Southend, Essex. The Kursaal Flyer is a full-sized replica of a late 19th century American Transcontinental locomotive. The replica can drive on roads because underneath it is a three tonne lorry, the only bit of steam power is in its fairground organ. Various low angle shots of the brightly painted train, four glamorous girls in leotards pose on the wheel casing beside the engine. C/U of the wheels. C/U of the girls.
