M/Ss of soldiers raising the air raid flag warning and turning a hand siren. Various shots taken during a daylight air attack by the Germans. Anti-aircraft guns in action and bombs falling around the island. Short shot of people inside one of the underground shelters. When the raid is over a sailor brings down the red warning flag from the palace roof and people come up from shelters to continue normal life - several people make the sign of the cross.
