“Only three years ago the group FRUMPY was founded, however it belongs already to pop’s history today. Inga Rumpf, Carsten Bohn, Jean-Jacques Kravetz and Karl Heinz Schoff - all former members of the well known folk-formation “City Preachers“ from Hamburg - founded FRUMPY, later on lead guitar player Rainer Baumann joined them. A milestone to success was their today almost legendary tour of 50 concerts with Spooky Tooth. More big events on their road to success were among others appearances in the “Olympia“, Paris and in the “Speakeasy“, London. Countless are their number of concerts in Germany. Always they swept along the audience with their music and charisma. In small cities as well on festivals. Most of the success is due to Inga with her inimitable smoky and sooty rasp-voice.
