Raag Bhoop
Raag bhoop is Kalyan Ang Purvang Pradhan raag. Thus it is mostly played in lower (Kharj) and Middle (Madhya) Octave/Saptak which creates serious and peaceful mood. Vadi swar is Gandhar and Samvadi swar is Dhaivat. It is Odav-Odav Jati raag (5 swar is ascending as well as descending).

Dr. Pt. Keshav Laxman Ginde (केशव लक्ष्मण गिंडे) is a well renowned Indian Classical Flutist (बासुरीवादक ), a senior musicologist, researcher, developer as well as innovator. He was born in a musical family in Belgaum, Karnataka (India) on 5th September 1942.
He researched and invented Keshav Venu flute (केशव वेणू) which has a range of 4 octaves and has surpassed the limitations of all extant flutes. Keshav Laxman Ginde (केशव लक्ष्मण गिंडे) has revolutionized the Indian Bamboo Flute by inventing Keshav Venu (केशव वेणू). Not only it has the capacity to fulfill all the musical needs, aesthetics for a musician but also it has dispensed the need for using 3 flutes which was used earlier to achieve 4 octaves while playing. Instead of 3 flutes which creates many drawbacks a flutist can achieve all the musical quality from a single flute that is “Keshav Venu” (केशव वेणू).
