Kalia’s Calf is Born! | SeaWorld® San Diego

After a 17-month gestation, Kalia’s calf, estimated to weigh between 300 and 350 pounds and measure between 6 and 7 feet, was born in Shamu Stadium’s main show pool following two hours and 15 minutes of labor. Congratulations to the zoological team members and other departments who have been monitoring Kalia in anticipation of the birth.
