The best way to add a feeling of history to your buildings? How I added a ghost sign to my building

The old brewery tower on Station Road has a ghost sign down the front to add that little bit of extra character to the centrepiece building on my N Scale model layout of a West Yorkshire town set in 1993. I used the software Inkscape to add the ghost sign and to design the curved window frames at the top of the building. In this episode I show how I made the ghost sign for the building. I also show how you can adapt the “Sticky Label Method“ to make arched window frames, and I give you some tips on how I use a steel rule to get really crisp folds on my card buildings. =============================================================== Enjoying Chandwell?
