Princess of Wales tours textile factory with historic family connection

Britain’s Princess of Wales, Kate, visited a textile mill with a close family connection on Tuesday (September 26). The wife of Prince William was given a tour around AW Hainsworth, a family-owned business in Leeds which bought her great-great grandfather’s manufacturing firm, William Lupton & Co., in 1958. During her visit, Kate learned about textile manufacturing processes as well the factory’s historic connection to her family.
