Jackfruit Shami Kebab Ingredients Quantity Raw Jackfruits cut into cube and boiled 250 gm. Oil 1 Tbsp 1 Tsp Cumin Seeds 1 Tsp Ginger chopped 1 Tbsp Garlic chopped 1 Tsp Green Chillies chopped 2 No. Coriander Powder 1 Tbsp Red Chilli Powder 1 Tsp for sprinkle Turmeric Powder ¼ Tsp Garam Masala Powder 1 Tsp Black pepper crushed ½ Tsp Roasted Chana Dal Powder 3 Tbsp Salt to taste Lemon juice ½ No. Coriander leaves chopped 2 Tbsp Green capsicum chopped 1 Tbsp for garnish Red bell pepper chopped 1 Tbsp for garnish Yellow bell pepper chopped 1 Tbsp for garnish Onion chopped 1 No. Chaat masala for sprinkle Method:- 1. Heat oil in a pan; add cumin seeds, mix well and sauté till its splutter. 2. Add chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies, mix well and sauté for a minute. 3. Add coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and black pepper crushed and mix well and sauté for 30 sec. 4. Add roasted chana dal powder, mix well and sauté for 2 min. 5. Add boiled kathal, mix well and sauté for 1 min. 6. Add salt, mix well and sauté for 2-3 min. 7. Remove in grinder jar and grind well. 8. Remove this mixture in a bowl, add lemon juice, chopped coriander, green capsicum, red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper and onion and mix well. 9. Heat oil in pan, Apply water in your hand, take one portion of prepared mixture and make tikki shape and keep it aside. 10. Place the kebab in pan and shallow fry the kebab from both the side till golden brown in color. 11. Remove in serving plate, garnish with assorted peppers, coriander chopped, sprinkle some red chilli powder and chaat masala on top and serve.
