LDM #374: Humphrey directional gyro - teardown, test and reverse engineering
In this video I study and operate a vintage directional gyroscope DG11-0105-1 manufactured by Humphrey Inc., San Diego, California. The heading is slaved to a flux detector connected to the gyroscope. A test is performed using an HSI Collins 331A-8K.
