Title reads: “Trucks Jump in the Lake“. Bordon, Hampshire. The Mechanical Transport Championship (nicknamed Army Grand National). Various shots of army truck driving over rough terrain in an off-road race M/S of two soldiers running and climbing into Land Rovers, one of them starts off and the other follows. The soldiers drive the jeeps across a pond, the vehicles are submerged in water, the soldiers have to stand on the seats to drive. They then drive on a dirt track, skidding around a bollard. The race then takes them back across the pond. The two jeeps then drive towards the finishing line, bumper to bumper. Various shots of trucks in race having problems: getting their wheels stuck in the mud or driving too fast and toppling over.
