Korg ToneWorks G4 Rotary Speaker Simulator / Leslie [Ambient / Drone application]

Here’s a little clip of the a Korg G4 that I scored a while ago. I wanted to see what I could do with this thing in stereo, utilize it like a sort of panner, but with a more obvious sweep. This thing does vintage regular rotary / leslie sounds on regular guitar and organ work as well. Korg did a great job with this one, especially with the combined drive, which seems to add some nice balls and warmth to the character of this unit. It’s digital, but has a very old and vintage vibe to it. - - - Gear used for recording: - PreSonus FirePod - Ableton Live Plugins: - Guitar Rig 4 (2x Twin Reverb models) - PSP Master Compressor - - - Gear used: Guitar: - Alleycat Relics Custom Shop ’51 Nocaster [Lindy Fralin pickups] .010 Elixir strings (tuned in E Standard) Signal Chain: - RJM Music Effects Gizmo*: - FRONT IN - BUFFER IN - LOOPS IN ::LOOP 1:: - 70ies MXR Dyna Comp Block Logo (Script innards) (m
