F/A-18E Up Close and Personal

The Royal Maces of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 27, the Dambusters of VFA 195, and the Eagles of VFA 115 all fly the F/A-18E Super Hornet jet. These brave pilots embarked aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) are catpulted from 0-155 miles-per-hour in less than 2.5 seconds in order to launch from the flight deck.
