One day he finally found that love and it was wonderful“. _______________________________________________ Oh yes, I’m back with another video in a week!! I’m so proud of myself!!! So, Matt Bomer recently stared in a movie, called The Normal Heart that was released on HBO. It tells the story of the monstrous epidemic of AIDS in the early 1980s and how victims were dying because society was ignorant and careless to help anyone or do anything about it. As Ned Weeks (played by Mark Ruffalo) tries to spread awareness about the disease, he meets and falls in love with New York Times reporter Felix Turner (played by Matt Bomer). **SPOILERS IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE MOVIE. Watch at own risk.*** This movie is simply incredible. I am so amazed not only on how Matt portrayed Felix, but also with Mark Ruffalo and the entire cast. Phenomenal performances that deserve Emmys and even Golden Globes. People everywhere need to see this beautiful work of art. Based on the play in the early 1980s, it’s the story of how these brave group of men and women stand up and fight back for our society because love is love, no matter what the sex. This movie educated me of how terrible life was at this time, since I was a 90s kid, I was not even born yet. Look at it, and learn how cruel our government was to gay men that were dying of an unknown disease at that time. It’s tragic, and to think this actually happened. It’s insane. Anyways, after I saw this movie, I wanted to vid it so bad. But then I heard this song and I immediately thought it was perfect for Felix when he goes through falling in love with Ned and then realizing he has the disease and that even though Ned said he would never leave his side, he still had some doubt because he was dying and felt he didn’t live up to Ned’s expectation. I loved this song for some time now and tried to think of a chance to use it. Here it is :) I wanted to make this video ’m not gonna say “simple“ because then it sounds like it was very easy to make, which it wasn’t, so I’m gonna say-- I wanted this video to have an emotional effect on people rather than having lots of fancy transitions and effects and going to the “beats“. This plot is a very serious matter and I wanted the emotional side to stand out, so I took the flow of the video into my own hands. I also wanted to add a good amount of voice overs because this movie has several great lines, but I only added some that were essential to this video; mainly that were said by Felix, or about Felix. I hope it wasn’t too much though. I apologize if they are hard to hear. Seriously, GO WATCH THIS MOVIE. If you have already, treasure it. Matt Bomer was the only reason I saw this movie in the first place, but now that I have seen it, I love it as a whole. Mark Ruffalo did an extraordinary job, and Matt was utterly brilliant. His best role yet. I am so proud of both of them. Of course, I want Matt to win an Emmy, or even a Critics’ Choice(since he’s nominated), but honestly, anyone in this movie deserves it. I just want it to be noticed. It’s so important and like Matt says, it’s not about hatred or anger. It’s about love. It has always been about love. cried while making this. Bye.
