Panihati Mahotsava | Nitai Gauranga Abhisheka

In the evening festivities of the Panihati Chida Dahi Mahotsava, Their Lordships Sri Nitai Gauranga will be offered a grand abhisheka accompanied by vedic chanting, bhajans and kirtans. The ceremonial bath will be followed by a narration of a wonderful pastime from the Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta where Lord Nityananda blessed Srila Raghunatha Dasa Goswami to attain the shelter of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Join us for this unique Danda Mahotsava, or the Festival of Punishment, which is observed by distribution of chipped rice with yoghurt.
