Elf Owl Calling

This is a male Elf Owl calling to it’s mate that is in a Saguaro Cactus nearby. Elf Owls are the smallest owls in the world and I am fortunate enough to have a nesting pair on my property. During the summer months they fly up from Mexico to nest and reproduce. Tucson is close to their Northern range of migration. This video is copyright © Chris Heising /
