Jay (Amitabh Bachchan) a street side gambler who has never lost a card game in his life is employed by Ratan Das (Madan Puri), a casino owner to defeat wealthy card players and earn profits for his casino. Ratan Das uses Jay to get hold of secret government documents. On the other hand, Jay’s twin brother, Inspector Vijay sets off on a mission to bring back the secret documents.
