Club Helmbreker is a musical project featuring an informal and fluid collective of musicians. The purpose of the project is to reinterpret hits, hidden gems and rarities by another artist in one day. Club Helmbreker was initiated by Huub Reijnders, Martijn Bosman, Yorick van Norden and Mathijs Ton in April 2014. It was in early July 2014 that the Club Helmbreker team met up with a group of faces old and new to follow-up the successful Beck edition of the project with something new and exciting. Ex-Beatle Paul McCartney is among the most successful pop artists of the 20th century and has had more hits than any of his peers.
