VULPEX KNIVES - LOYAL LIMA / knife making / custom knife / Messer machen / CNC

Hallo friends out there ! Here i want to show the making-of of the “LOYAL LIMA“ knife i made almost two months ago. This knife was an special order from a special person. It is a custom made knife for a german soldier. The knife is designed to cope a lot of different tasks in the field. The given targets by the customer w ere: - making a robust and sharp knife for hard use but also finer work, like batoning wood and finer detail work in the forest - it should be overall dark and kind of “used“ design - the knife has to be fixed by a sheath at the soldiers belt or tactical gear - my lovely material copper should be a highlighting element in the knife - He told me to make a EDC bushrafter to take out to the forest and other tasks legally in germany - choose a handle material to withstand the raw use So i decided to make a knife that combines those all in one piece of artwork.
