Desert Locust in Uganda, FAO warns they might be an eminent threat to food security

Farmers have been assured of government’s preparedness to deal with any desert locust invasion the county. This assurance was made by the permanent secretary ministry of Agriculture Animal Industry & Fisheries Pius Wakabi while receiving a donation from Food & Agricultural Organization aimed at stepping up efforts to control locusts in Uganda.
