Ruff (Philomachus pugnax) feeding on emerging midges

A short clip of a male ruff (Philomachus pugnax) feeding on midges (Chironomidae) emerging en masse on a lake in the northeastern part of the Yamal peninsula. There is another male ruff standing in the back and a red-necked phalarope (Phalaropus lobatus) swimming in the front.
