ODYSSEY008: William Kiss

Tracklist & Interview: Tune into “Odyssey“ on every 3rd Sunday, 4-5pm The eighth instalment of Odyssey is brought to us by Australian DJ/Producer William Kiss. The Melbourne based artist’s sound can be characterised as dark, driving, percussive techno, with his most recent EP “Like This” – released on Bush Records – encompassing these elements, alongside synthy melodic stabs and catchy vocal hooks, keen to create music that simply turns heads on a dancefloor, whether that be a club or a festival arena. His first release of 2023, “Yo” out on the Safe Spaces compilation, can only be described as a raw, stripped back stomper. You can be sure to expect more releases from William Kiss as the year progresses.. The Aussie has been releasing music for coming up to a decade with support on his tracks coming from heavyweights such as Joseph Capriati, Peggy Gou, Patrick Topping and Carl Cox to name a few – the latter playing five of his new tracks at the renowned Kappa Futur Festival last Summer. His hour-long mix hones in on his decisive focus of percussive tribal components, rumbling baselines and main floor melodies, featuring plenty of his own productions as well as tracks from the likes of Josh Wink, Sputnik One, DJ ADHD and many more. Sit back and tune in, as you embark on an Odyssey, with William Kiss. TRANSITION @ William Kiss
