Thoracic outlet syndrome care at UC Davis Medical Center

UC Davis Health System has a clinic dedicated to thoracic outlet syndrome. The condition occurs when blood vessels or nerves running from the upper body through the arm become compressed, causing problems ranging from reduced mobility and pain to life- and limb-threatening blood clots. The clinic is led by Dr. Julie Freischlag, an internationally recognized vascular surgeon and dean of UC Davis School of Medicine.
