Growing Potatoes in a Wilderness Peat Bog in Canada, September Harvest

The weather is changing, winter is coming and it’s time to start harvesting the 10 varieties of potatoes that I have planted in my wilderness garden. I expect to gather about 500 pounds of potatoes this year despite some poor yields in some sections of the garden that are particularly acidic, dry and devoid of nutrients.
