Gerald Kaufman speech

I do not agree with alot that Gerald Kaufman says here but his speech is important and impassioned. I believe it is more significant than much of the “whataboutism“ that is going around. Kaufman believed that Ariel Dharon’s policies directly led to the rise of Hamas. Like Ari Shavit, he probably concluded that Sharon’s policies “led to the transformation of a relatively modest and ascetic state [Israel] into an occupying bully“. This is, therefore, a review of what has gone wrong.
