Rome: climate activists turn Trevi fountain water black

Members of Ultima Generazione anti-fossil fuel group poured diluted charcoal into the water of Trevi fountain. The activists said they were protesting against public subsidies for fossil fuels and linked their action to deadly floods in Italy’s northern Emilia-Romagna region.
