POV: Steam Locomotive Struggles to Pull Long Train on Wet Slippery Rails. *LOTS of Wheel Slip!*

In this video, we were attempting to pull the first Candy Cane Express train of the weekend on the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad with the Polson Logging Co. #2, a 70 ton 2-8-2 Baldwin logging Mikado, after a heavy rain storm which left the railroad covered in leaves and other debris, as well as left the rails soaking wet. Watch as myself and the engineer do what we can to keep the long passenger train from stalling on the short grades outside of Garibaldi Oregon on the Former Port of Tillamook Bay Railroad.
