Excited to share a new hand-drawn animated lyric video for “Plenty,” from our first EP, Six Songs. Despite very little fanfare when it was first released, it has taken on a life of its own, with people continuing to discover the song through the mysterious Spotify and TikTok algorithms. I’ve dreamed of a video for it for a long time now, and a lyric video felt like the best fit as the words have always been the main focus of the song. So now - six years after its original release - we’re delighted to share a beautiful hand-drawn animated video to accompany the audio. Thank you to Zoë and Kelley for all of their work on this project! The lyrics were inspired by this quote I stumbled across years back, which continues to feel hauntingly relevant in an age of infinite eyes and commentary - “Always remember that the crowd that applauds your coronation is the same crowd that will applaud your beheading.
