Pat King - Cops Confront Protesters

Police arrive on Wednesday afternoon and start ticketing some truckers. Pat King says it is “staged“ and “a setup“ because Global News is on scene to document it. King screams at the crowd to back away from the police because he says the crowd is encircling them and could be seen as antagonizing them. The crowd sings the national anthem “O Canada“ as a police vehicle drives away. This comes after truckers were served notices telling them to leave immediately or face arrest and criminal charges. Some truckers have now posted “no trespassing“ signs on their rigs. The Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa also released a statement urging parents to make alternate arrangements for their kids should they become unable to care for them following police raids.
