“The Great Inka Road“ Family Day 6 - Peruvian Music & Dance

The National Museum of the American Indian celebrates its newest exhibit, “The Great Inka Road: Engineering an Empire,“ and National Hispanic Heritage Month with a day-long program of family activities and performances. In this video, the cultural group Club Libertad de Washington DC performs traditional dances pf Peru. Peru is one of the six South American countries that had been included the Inka Empire’s expanse, Peru and Ecuador. This is the second of two performances given by this organization. This performance was webcast live and recorded in the Potomac Atrium of the National Museum of the American Indian on September 13, 2015.
