Gumtree ad gets 80 musicians to jam with 95 year old in care home

Musicians have come forward to jam with a 95-year-old pianist after a nationwide appeal was made on Gumtree to find him some new bandmates. The festive wish was granted for ex jazz player, Edward Hardy, when more than 80 musicians from across the UK replied to the heart-warming advert. Amazingly, despite now suffering from dementia, the talented war veteran has still retained his piano playing abilities.
