Founded in 1957 in the heart of Valtellina, Latteria di Chiuro holds the distinction of being the first dairy cooperative dedicated to the production and distribution of drinking milk in the area. As a testament to their dedication to sustainability, they have embraced the future with the iconic PET jar, a 100% recyclable packaging that not only encapsulates the essence of first-rate raw materials, but also serves as a visual delight, captivating consumers with both quality and aesthetics. In their pursuit of excellence, they recognised the need for technological security and adaptability. This led to a strategic collaboration with ILPRA, with the aim of optimising production from the jar designed more than ten years ago. The result? A tailor-made plant designed to minimise waste and streamline technological management-a sophisticated solution for a simple process. The challenge was to transform a classic plant into a hot filling plant, able to accommodate jams and prepared products of different consistencies and achieve a substantial output of at least 5000 pieces per hour in a limited space.
