Terry Hall is one of my most favourite and at the same time, most underrated artists of all time. Even though he is a pop singer, he has a somewhat natural sadness about him. A terrible incident when he was 12, I think scarred him for life. I love him and some of his songs are so close to me, it’s unbelievable. In my book he is one of the true masters of what I call “expensive pop“. A few years ago he tried to take his own life. Luckily he didn’t succeed. Terry Hall Forever! He is the true example of how darkness can forge bright gems. I love him. Truly.
