These are some of my 2014 breeding finches. Some I selected for head shape and others for colour, at the same time as trying to keep the gene pool broad. There’s one particularly strongly coloured male Gouldian Finch - hIs chest is darker and his feathering more iridescent than the others. You can spot him first on a branch to the right, then he pecks at a piece of millet spray for a while, then hops across the front of the dish and hangs about on a rock to the left.
