Ps1 Need for Speed: High Stakes This is the most hated track in High Stakes. It has Snow, which breaks down tires that touch it, so you slip. It has Ice on many road edges and if you accelerate and turn, you slip. But the absolute nightmare is to race this track with fast car if the track is WET. You may slip just anywhere… In a tournament you had to build up enough points to stay 1st even if you finished last on this track. Like this if you had the same experience! Need for speed series is the best racing PlayStation one games of all time. And High Stakes is definitely among my favorites. I have a lot of great memories racing against my friend on split screen. Beating him last second. What a great time that was! Driving the dream cars on circuits, running away from the police, racing in traffic. High Stakes mode didn’t forgive any mistakes. You could lose your favorite car in matter of split second. Man, back then, we have seen this game in 8K resolution! I have recorded a video from each track of this great game with various track modes: day, night, rain, forward, reverse, mirrored.
