As requested by a few, here’s a more detailed look at my homemade cockpit and the gear which I use whenever I am flying in DCS! I hope to soon finish another video in which I provide additional details around the cockpit which I made as well as one about PointCTRL which for me is a must have.
There were a few things omitted from the video which really help my enjoyment of DCS.
1) Prescription lens inserts from VR Optician. I wear reading glasses and VR optician put together some great lenses to help improve clarity in my Varjo Aero headset. They are great and I recommend them highly!
2) Comfort head strap from StudioForm Creative. They ship from New Zealand and really helped make the Aero super comfy on my head. They also include some counterweights for the back to better balance the headset.

3) I use a little fan which was mounted on the front panel to blow a gentle breeze across my face and it does a great job, however it’s kind of noisy so I am going to replace it with a larger wall mounted fan.
