Microsorum pteropus ’Trident’ - Trident Fern

’Trident’-(008G)/4424 Microsorum pteropus ‘Trident’ is an easy and slow growing rhizome plant that grows as an epiphyte best attached to rocks or wood. Although it is in Tropica’s Easy category it does require moderate to strong lighting and CO2 injection to achieve optimal results but will survive in lower energy conditions. It is available from Tropica in regular 5cm pots and as AquaDecor, already attached to lava stone or driftwood. The rhizome requires circulating water and it should not be buried in the substrate but attached to the aquarium decor. If the rhizome gets buried the lack of oxygen can kill the plant.
