No title. c 1920 C/U of an unusual model railway. A model train speeds along through some metal archways away from the camera. C/U of man who is presumably the owner of the model railway. He holds a model train, pointing out certain features to the camera. He turns the train to show the wheels on the underside. He moves them around. Intertitle reads: “Neither a mono-car nor an ordinary one.... but it can climb 1 in 7 gradients with ease. L/S of the model track. Shot of the train/car climbing up the steep tracks. The contraption can glide around sharp curves also. C/U of the nose of the vehicle as it turns a bend in the track. L/S of the vehicle travelling along a straight piece of track and then up and down a 1 in 3 gradient. Shot of two of the trains passing one another. One of the models is subjected to: “A stability test that would push the ordinary train out of focus.“ The inventor turns the model on its side whilst it is attached to the track.
