HCSO Deputy Injured After Being Rear Ended By DWI Driver | Houston

| 11:08 AM | HOUSTON - An HCSO deputy was driving north on Tomball Pkwy. The deputy was not responding to any calls, he was just driving. The deputy was struck by a white Mercedes sedan. Witnesses state the Mercedes was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck the deputies patrol car. Witnesses attempted to help the deputy however he told them to go and render aid to the suspect. Witnesses state the male driver was extremely intoxicated. Both the suspect & the deputy were transported to area hospitals. The deputy is in stable condition however the extent of his injuries are unclear. There are DWI charges pending at this time.
