SoundLens #4 Maleha Desert () - Mini DJ Set by oxymOre

This is the 4th episode of SoundLens; a series of mini DJ sets introducing Progressive and Ethereal Sound in the Lens of Nature and Humans. For SoundLens #4, we are happy to share a unique experience captured in Maleha, a UNESCO-nominated World Heritage Site in Sharjah surrounding the outstanding Fossil Rock. The geology of this site started 70 millions years ago through volcanic activity formed Hajar mountains, in the United Arab Emirates. These mountains were still partly covered by the sea as the evidence is found in the beds of sedimentary rocks, in particular limestone. Maleha’s archeological value derives from the earliest human settlers 130,000 years ago and today it is the paradise for desert hikers and off-roaders. The combination of this site with the ethereal and progressive music along the mystical experience of the whirling dervish provide a breath-taking scene that we would like to share and spread...
