Gatwick Airport / Rochford Salvage Fire Updates - EV TO BLAME - Surprised?!

Rochdale is not Rochford, so i’ve corrected the thumbnail...! LINKS AND DETAILS: Geoff, We flew back into Gatwick last night, Wednesday 13th March. Our car was parked at the north terminal car park area T. The airport bus dropped us short of area T and we had to transfer to a minibus for the last few hundred yards. The reason given by the carpark attendant was that cleanup of the carpark surface was taking place. Quote “a Tesla caught fire and despite the fire service turning up in 4 minutes 11 further cars were destroyed“. We were driven past a large area of burnt and damaged tarmac where workmen were sluicing down the surface with water. No damaged vehicles were seen. Make of this what you will!
