Conus arenatus - Sand-dusted Cone

This cone is a vermivore common to sand flats associated with reefs. It is a common cone but beautiful in the simplicity of its pattern; dark speckles randomly scattered on a white background. The first part of the video shows a cone found on a fringing reef north of Cairns. The second with the egg capsules was filmed on the barrier reef (Vlasoff Cay).
