Parker Hastings - “Parker House Rag“ by Guy Van Duser

This is a song that my friend and fellow thumbpicker, Guy Van Duser, wrote several years ago and sent to me. His challenge to me was to see if I could learn it, so in a week’s time I had learned it and sent a video back to him of me playing it! He named it “Parker House Rag“ after the Parker House Hotel in Boston where Chet Atkins would stay when he visited the area. It’s a fun tune to play written in the Scott Joplin style!
