12h Bathurst 2024 - BMW Team WRT - A mixed bag

A mixed bag. Highs and lows were experienced by BMW Team WRT at the last weekend’s Bathurst 12 hour race. Having clinched pole position with one of their two cars, the team seemed to have enough pace and performance to be in contention for the victory. Unfortunately, the pole car got into accident involving a backmarker from a lower category and another car went on to finish in P5, narrowly missing a podium spot. What a turbulent race it was, however.
