Takamura Coffee Roasters in Osaka Was a privilege to chat with Iwasaki san, 2018 runner up in JCRC (Japan Coffee Roasting Championship). Takamura Coffee has been leading the wave of specialty coffee in Kansai, featuring many COEs and installing one of the first Loring smart roasters in Japan. Iwasaki san started his coffee career by chance, stepping into Fulgen Tokyo, redefining his definition of coffee. From there, after only a few years, he’s now the head roaster of Takamura Coffee Roasters, competing at a high level in roasting and brewing competitions globally.
